Dr. Caroline Piotrowski is a Professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba. She leads the Violence and Injury Prevention research group (VIPrg) and serves as a research scientist at the Children's Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba (CHRIM). Her work focuses on mixed-methods research addressing child health and well-being in adverse circumstances.

She chairs the Scientific Committee of SAVIR and serves on the Allied Health and Nursing Professional Committee of the International Pediatric Transplant Association (IPTA).
Dr. Piotrowski has received awards for teaching and service, and her current CIHR-funded project adapts interventions for Indigenous mothers and children exposed to intimate partner violence.
