Michael Ellis, MD, FRCSC, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba. He serves as the Medical Director of the Pan Am Concussion Program, a provincial initiative providing multidisciplinary care for pediatric concussion and traumatic brain injury patients in Manitoba and central Nunavut.
- Research Affiliations: Research Scientist at the Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba (CHRIM), member of the Canadian Concussion Network, ENIGMA Consortium, and IPV TBI Working Group.
His research focuses on expanding access to specialized concussion care via telemedicine in rural and remote communities and understanding the epidemiology and management of intimate partner violence-related traumatic brain injury.
