Caroline Collins is a Visiting Lecturer at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London. With a background in the Magistrates’ Courts Service, she pursued law studies part-time while working, later completing a PGCE (FE) in Law to transition to academia. She has taught at multiple institutions including Birkbeck, Pearson College London, and BPP University, specializing in online legal education. Her research focuses on fraud law (especially digital-era challenges), policing-funding interdependencies, and legal pedagogy. She co-authored a chapter in Financial Crime and Corporate Misconduct (Routledge) and actively supports mooting societies.
Research interests include corporate manslaughter, post-COVID teaching methodologies, and criminal law adaptation to modern digital crimes. She collaborates with academics on topics like policing reforms and legal education innovation. Teaching emphases include criminal law modules for foundational to advanced learners.
