Caroline van Hensbergen is a Senior Lecturer in Law (Education) at The Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London. She holds a Jurisprudence degree from Oxford University and has extensive experience in legal practice, international law, and legal education. Her career includes death penalty defense work in the United States, assisting retired UK Court of Appeal judge Sir Christopher Staughton, and contributing to the prosecution of individuals involved in the Srebrenica massacre at The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She has taught at BPP University, leading Contract Law modules for over a decade.
Her research and professional interests focus on criminal law, international human rights, and legal pedagogy. She currently teaches at King's College London and maintains office hours at the Strand Campus: Wednesday 11:15–12:55 and Thursday 10:10–11:00.
