Carole Dinan, Assistant Professor at the School of Occupational Therapy at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS), brings over 25 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy across diverse settings including acute care, rehabilitation, schools, community care, and mental health. Her teaching focuses on mental health practice, assessment fundamentals, neuroscience, and pediatric/adolescent care, while also advising the Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) on the Worcester campus.
- Education: Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) from Boston University, BS in Occupational Therapy from Salem State University, BS in Rehabilitation Services from Springfield College, and AS in Occupational Therapy Assistant from North Shore Community College
Dr. Dinan emphasizes evidence-based practice and real-world applications in her pedagogy. Her research interests span student learning in higher education and developmental vision disorders, aligning with her clinical background in holistic, client-centered mental health interventions.
