Christienne Parten

Christienne Parten is an Assistant Professor in the OT Programs at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, Austin, TX campus since August 2018. She holds academic affiliations with the College of Health Sciences and specializes in areas such as Acute Care, Neurological Disorders, and Rehabilitation Nursing. Her clinical expertise spans 20 years in long-term acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and neurological rehabilitation, focusing on clients with brain injuries and strokes. She is certified in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) and Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT).

As a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and Texas Occupational Therapy Association (TOTA), she contributes to professional discourse in occupational therapy. Her role as a clinical instructor involves guiding students in bridging theoretical knowledge with practical rehabilitation skills.
