Kimberly Geisner-Gross

Kimberly Geisner-Gross serves as an Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy at Western New England University, transitioning to full-time faculty in 2022 after five years as an adjunct. She holds leadership roles including Chair of the OTD Curriculum Committee, Secretary of the Academic Standards Committee, and voting member of the Admissions Committee.

Dr. Gross specializes in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation (Certified Hand Therapist), with advanced expertise in cannabis applications in clinical practice, Kinesiotaping/Dynamic Taping methodologies, wound management, and sensory integration for adult populations. Her research integrates clinical innovations developed through extensive experience across mental health, skilled nursing, acute care, pediatrics, and home health settings.

She teaches anatomical kinesiology, population health, and outpatient orthopedics while mentoring doctoral students during experiential components. Her professional service focuses on curriculum development and academic standards within the OTD program.
