Caitlyn Foy is an Associate Professor and Director of the Occupational Therapy Doctoral Program (OTD) at Salus University’s College of Health Sciences, Education, and Rehabilitation. She holds a BS in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Pittsburgh, an MSOT from Temple University, and a post-professional DOT from Temple University. Her academic roles include advising the Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) and serving as President of the Faculty Executive Council (FEXCO). Dr. Foy specializes in interprofessional practice, adult rehabilitation, mental health care, and acute care management, with a focus on integrating educational technology into classroom settings.
Her professional activities include membership in the Phi Theta Epsilon Society and executive roles in the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association’s District V. She is a licensed occupational therapist in Pennsylvania and holds a Teaching in Higher Education Certificate from Temple University. Beyond academia, Dr. Foy volunteers on the Newtown Township parks and recreation board and actively supports community service initiatives like the POTA Project Linus event.
Dr. Foy’s scholarly contributions span faculty development strategies, mentorship frameworks in academia, and interdisciplinary healthcare approaches. Her work emphasizes creating supportive academic environments that foster student success and prepare graduates for leadership roles in occupational therapy.
