Megan Silvia, OTD, OTR, is an Assistant Professor at the School of Occupational Therapy, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS). She specializes in pediatric pain management with a biopsychosocial approach, integrating interdisciplinary collaboration into her clinical and academic practice. Dr. Silvia also contributes to program development, serves as the Worcester campus OT Interprofessional Education (IPE) representative, and acts as the program’s liaison to MCPHS Admissions.

Dr. Silvia's research focuses on pediatric pain assessment, virtual reality applications in rehabilitation, and sensory processing interventions for chronic headache disorders. Her clinical work spans pediatric and adult rehabilitation settings, emphasizing functional restoration and biopsychosocial factors in treatment outcomes.
Recent publications highlight her work on sensory hypersensitivity scales, technology integration in pain management, and caregiver expectations in rehabilitation programs. She actively presents at national and international conferences, including the American Occupational Therapy Association Annual Conference and the International Association for the Study of Pain World Congress.
