Dr. Carmela Cucuzzella is a Professor in the Department of Design and Computation Arts at Concordia University, holding the prestigious Concordia University Research Chair in Integrated Design and Sustainability for the Built Environment. She is a founding co-director of the Next Generation Cities Institute and a member of the inter-university Laboratory for the Study of Potential Architecture (LEAP). Her work bridges architecture, environmental science, and urban design, focusing on sustainable practices and public space innovation.
