She investigates spatial justice, sustainable material cultures, and cultural mediation in architectural design, with particular emphasis on wood technologies and their implementation in Canadian architecture. Her publications and conference presentations focus on tectonic tensions, material culture, and spatial equity. Recent collaborations with 14 Canadian universities in the SSHRC-funded partnership aim to redefine environmental quality standards through equity, inclusivity, and sustainability roadmaps.
