Camille Partin

Camille Partin is Associate Professor and Shklanka Chair in Precambrian Critical Mineral Systems at the University of Saskatchewan's College of Arts and Science. Her office is located in Geology 216.

Her research examines Precambrian sedimentary basins, tectonic evolution of the Canadian Shield, oxygen evolution in Precambrian atmosphere/oceans, detrital zircon U-Pb geochronology, mineral deposits, ancient orogens, and Arctic geochemistry.

Recent publications analyze sedimentary provenance using zircon isotopes, Paleoproterozoic geology of Greenland, and Neoarchean greenstone belts. Her work contributes to understanding critical mineral systems in Precambrian terrains.

She conducts extensive fieldwork in Arctic and northern Canada, investigating geological evolution and mineral resource potential.
