Dr Bukola Faturoti is a Senior Lecturer-in-Law at the University of Hertfordshire, specializing in Cyberlaw, Digital Copyright, and International Commercial Arbitration. Previously, he served at Robert Gordon University (2008–2019) teaching Telecommunications Law, Cyberlaw, and Dispute Resolution. He holds a PhD from the University of Leeds and advanced degrees from the London School of Economics and Robert Gordon University.
His research focuses on digital rights in developing economies, including internet access as a human right, data privacy in Africa, and legal frameworks for emerging technologies. He has contributed to projects addressing solar energy solutions for smallholder farmers and sustainable energy systems in Africa.
Professional memberships include the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK, Society of Legal Scholars, and International Technology Law Association. His work spans academic publications on cybercrime jurisdiction, post-COVID digital education, and African IP policy developments.
