Bruce MacQueen is an Applied Associate Professor of Languages at The University of Tulsa's Kendall College of Arts & Sciences, Department of Language & Literature. With a Ph.D. in Classics from The University of Iowa and an M.A. from University of California at Santa Barbara, he specializes in both Greek and Latin authors, comparative grammar, and neurolinguistics.
His research interests include Roman historians (especially Sallust), ancient Greek novelists (particularly Longus), classical mythology, and acquired communication disorders. With over 20 publications in PubMed, MacQueen brings significant expertise in the science of how the brain controls language. He has also authored a novel and received multiple teaching award nominations throughout his career.
