Bright Nduka is a Lecturer at the School of Science, Technology and Health, York St John University, with a focus on the sociology of sport and exercise. He holds a Bachelor's in Human Kinetics (First Class Honours) from the University of Benin, Nigeria, and a Master's in the Sociology of Sports and Exercise (with distinction) from the University of Chester, England. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD analyzing the application of heading policies in boys' professional football academies in the UK.
- Teaches Physical Education and Sports Coaching modules at foundation, first, and second-year levels.
- Co-teaches the Sports Journalism and Society module as a Visiting Lecturer in the Business School Journalism Department.
His research interests include the sociology of sport, youth sports, physical education, and health/well-being in sports, with a focus on sociological theories. He has presented at institutions such as York St John University and Leeds Beckett University on topics related to heading policies in football academies. His professional experience spans 8 years in sports and exercise science, with teaching roles in both secondary and higher education settings.
