Brian Bovard

Brian Bovard is an Assistant Professor and Associate Dean of Student and Faculty Affairs at The Water School, Florida Gulf Coast University. He holds a PhD in Plant Physiological Ecology from Duke University and a BA in Biology from West Virginia University. His research focuses on forest ecosystems, particularly their responses to atmospheric CO₂ and climate changes, and their roles in carbon storage and hydrologic processes impacted by human activities.
