Asko Noormets

Dr. Asko Noormets is a Professor and AgriLife Research Faculty Fellow at Texas A&M University’s College of Agriculture & Life Sciences. His work focuses on forest ecology, ecosystem physiology, and global change impacts, with expertise in carbon cycle dynamics, respiration, and forest management. He leads research projects on soil carbon balance, plant carbon allocation, and ecosystem resilience under climate change.
