Brandy Windham serves as an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Human Development & Leadership at St. Edward's University's School of Behavioral and Social Sciences, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Communication Interventions, Assessment, Functional Behavior Assessment, Child Development, and Ethics in Behavior Analysis. She concurrently instructs at The University of Texas while maintaining clinical leadership roles.
Her academic foundation includes degrees from The University of Texas at Austin, launching her career as a school-based Speech and Language Pathologist before advancing into behavior analysis specialization.
Windham's research and professional focus centers on early intervention for children with autism spectrum disorders, integrating Speech and Language Pathology with Applied Behavior Analysis methodologies. Her expertise spans Functional Behavior Assessment, Communication Interventions, Child Development, and Ethical Practice frameworks to address developmental challenges in young learners.
As executive director of Building BLOCS, an Austin-based clinical center specializing in speech therapy and ABA services, she bridges academic instruction with real-world application, creating practical training opportunities for students while serving the neurodiverse community.
