Boyd Branch is an Assistant Professor (Academic) at Coventry University's CAS School of Arts & Creative Industries. He also serves as the Owner of Red Thread Productions since 2016. His research focuses on the intersection of technology and performing arts, including virtual reality applications in theater, AI-driven improvisation systems, and audience-centric design. His work spans music performance, immersive environments, and embodied historiography, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration between arts and sciences.

Research interests include AI in live performance, virtual reality for creative practices, and the ethical implications of emerging technologies in the arts.
