Bonnie Halvorson-Bourgeois

Bonnie Halvorson-Bourgeois is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. She serves as Coordinator of Literacy Services in the Speech Language and Literacy Center (SLLC), overseeing clinical education for MS graduate students and CAS program participants. Her work focuses on integrating anti-oppressive practices and mindfulness into clinical training.

Recipient of the 2023 Nancy T. Watts Award for Excellence in Teaching, recognizing her innovative approaches to mentorship and student-centered learning. Her scholarship addresses pandemic impacts on healthcare student wellbeing and curriculum reform for inclusive practice.
