Björn Lundqvist is a Professor of European Law with a focus on Competition Law at Stockholm University's Department of Law, where he also serves as Head of EU Law. His academic career spans multiple prestigious institutions across Europe and the United States, contributing significantly to the field of competition law in digital contexts.
His educational background includes a doctoral degree and MRes from the European University Institute in Florence, an LL.M. from the University of Michigan Law School, and both LL.M. and LL.B. degrees from Uppsala University in Sweden. This diverse academic foundation has shaped his interdisciplinary approach to legal scholarship.
Lundqvist's research centers on the intersection of Competition, Innovation, Data, Property and Law, with particular emphasis on the data-driven economy. His work examines how traditional competition law frameworks adapt to digital markets, data governance, and technological innovation.
