As core member of ARU's Health & Care Workforce Research Group, he investigates strategic challenges in UK healthcare delivery through mixed-methods approaches.
Recent publications reveal consistent focus on systemic NHS improvements: analyzing non-medical prescribing frameworks, pandemic mental health impacts, and integrated care benefits. These works demonstrate methodological rigor in addressing workforce retention, service user experiences, and policy implementation gaps within England's health ecosystem.
Currently leading externally funded research on newly qualified healthcare student employment choices (Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board), he supervises doctoral candidates in qualitative/quantitative health research while serving as external PhD examiner for international institutions.
