Roslyn Mattukoyya is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of School of Nursing at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), part of the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Social Care. With a nursing career spanning over 25 years, she has held roles across India, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, and the UK. Her expertise focuses on clinical simulation, international nurse empowerment, and healthcare workforce research. Roslyn leads the Simulation team in ARU’s School of Nursing, designing innovative training models and collaborating with national/international stakeholders.
Her academic qualifications include a PhD, MSc in Public Health, and PG Cert in Medical Education. She supervises research projects in her areas of interest and serves as an external examiner for the University of Manchester’s nursing programs. Roslyn actively contributes to the Royal College of Nursing (RCN), British Indian Nurses Association, and UK-REACH panels addressing healthcare workforce equity and diversity.
Key research grants include projects on nurse empowerment in NHS settings and international nurse career progression. Recent presentations include talks at the Elsevier SciTalks (2025), RCSI Conference (2025), and NETNEP2024 in Singapore. Awards include the Global Medical Excellence Award (2021) and RCN Education Awards finalist (2022).
