Bianca Kronemann

Bianca Kronemann is a Lecturer in Digital Marketing & Consumer Behaviour at the Hull University Business School, which is part of the University of Hull's Faculty of Business, Law and Politics. She joined the university in April 2022 and teaches modules such as Customer Experience (CX) Strategy & Techniques, Marketing Management in Action, and International Marketing. Previously, she taught at Hong Kong SPACE University.

She holds a BSc in Business Administration & Modern Languages, an MSc in Strategic Marketing from Swansea University, and a PhD in Digital Marketing from the University of Bradford.

Her research focuses on the societal implications of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly addressing privacy concerns in human-machine interactions, information disclosure dynamics, and sustainability in data-driven contexts. She also explores how AI shapes consumer decision-making and cultural adaptation processes through digital platforms. Recently, her work has emphasized anthropomorphism, personalization strategies, and ethical dimensions of AI adoption in marketing.

In recognition of her contributions, Bianca was selected as a global 'Leader of Tomorrow' and participated in the 2022 St Gallen Symposium. She is actively involved in two research projects: 'Climate Engagement through Escape Room Games' (2025-2025) and 'Personalising Future Education Pathways through AI' (2025-2025). These projects aim to innovate education systems using AI and promote climate awareness through immersive gaming experiences.

Bianca's affiliations include the Marketing, Management and Business Strategy research group at the University of Hull, where she contributes to both academic and applied initiatives. She collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to address challenges posed by the 4th Industrial Revolution, particularly in marketing and policy domains.
