Bhoomi K. Thakore

Bhoomi K. Thakore is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Connecticut. Her research focuses on social inequalities, intersectionality, media studies, and critical pedagogy. She holds leadership roles in the American Sociological Association (ASA) and the Society for the Study of Social Problems (SSSP), and serves on editorial boards for Social Currents and Humanity and Society.
