Bertil Emrah Oder serves as Professor of Constitutional Law at Koç University, concurrently holding the Directorship of KOÇ-KAM and the UNESCO Chair on Gender Equality and Sustainable Development.
His academic foundation includes a PhD from the University of Cologne (2000), LL.M. from Marmara University (1994), and Bachelor's degree from İstanbul University (1988).
Professor Oder's research integrates constitutional theory with practical human rights applications, specializing in Comparative Constitutionalism, Constitutional Review mechanisms, and Gender Equality frameworks within EU Law and International Human Rights contexts. His methodology emphasizes interdisciplinary legal analysis for sustainable development.
