Bert DiBella

Bert DiBella is an Adjunct Professor in the Justice, Law, and Criminology Department at American University since 2003. He combines over 30 years of government experience with military service, having worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Army Judge Advocate's General's Corps, retiring as a Colonel.

• Education: B.A. from Hartwick College (1986), J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law (1989), Master's in Strategic Studies from U.S. Army War College (2013)

Mr. DiBella's practice areas focus on conflicts of interest, standards of ethical conduct, anti-corruption strategies, military justice, and law of armed conflict. His expertise bridges legal practice with public policy frameworks.
