Belinda Barton is an Associate Professor and Casual Academic at the UTS Business School, Department of Marketing. She holds a PhD (2020), a Bachelor of Business with Distinction in Accounting and Marketing, and First Class Honours in Marketing from UTS. Her academic accolades include the Kerry Daniel Memorial Prize for top female Marketing graduate and consistent placement on the Dean’s Merit List.
Her research focuses on consumer decision making, healthcare marketing, and public policy implications of marketing strategies. Notable projects include meta-analyses on nutrition labeling efficacy and scarcity tactics in retail, as well as studies on consumer anxiety and generic pharmaceutical preferences. She has presented at conferences like the American Marketing Association and ANZMAC.
