Asta Zokaityte

Asta Zokaityte is a Lecturer at the Kent Law School, University of Kent. She holds a PhD in Consumer Protection Law and an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Kent, along with an LLB from the University of Vilnius. Her academic work focuses on Financial Services Regulation, Corporate Governance, and Consumer Protection through socio-legal and interdisciplinary lenses.

Dr Zokaityte’s research examines edu-regulatory techniques in financial markets, particularly financial illiteracy and consumer numeracy. She authored the book Financial Literacy Education: Edu-regulating Our Saving and Spending Habits (Palgrave, 2017) and is currently investigating gender dynamics within the FemTech market. Her work bridges law with behavioral economics, digital governance, and consumer rights.
