Dr. Karen Lynch Shally is an Assistant Professor in the School of Law and Criminology at Maynooth University since 2019. She specializes in financial markets regulation, consumer protection in retail financial services, and commercial law. Her research examines post-crisis regulatory frameworks in Ireland and Spain, with a focus on mortgage markets and EU policy dynamics. She teaches modules on Banking & Financial Law, Financial Services Regulation, and Law & Governance.
