Gail Henderson is an Associate Professor at Queen's University's Faculty of Law, where she directs the Business Law Program. Her expertise spans corporate law, financial regulation, and consumer protection, with a focus on vulnerable populations. She previously held roles including Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta and law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Louise Charron.
Education: Hons. BA (Toronto), LLB (Osgoode Hall Law School), LLM and SJD (University of Toronto). Notable achievements include being a Gold Medalist at Osgoode Hall and securing SSHRC grants for research on financial literacy and consumer protection.
Research interests emphasize financial literacy in education, corporate governance ethics, and regulatory responses to crises. She advises on national committees like the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada and the Canadian CED Network Board.
