Dr. Ashraf Badir is a Professor in the Department of Bioengineering, Civil Engineering, and Environmental Engineering at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), affiliated with the U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering. He joined FGCU as an Associate Professor in 2008 and was previously an Associate Professor at Clark Atlanta University and a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology's School of Aerospace Engineering. His expertise spans structural analysis of advanced composites, steel/concrete structures, and engineering education innovation.
