As a researcher at UAB’s IVU (Institute of Aesthetics and Art Studies), Muñoz explores intersections between visual culture, philosophy, and pedagogy. He has served as Section Coordinator at Eina (2015–2020) and Educational Service Director at the Arranz-Bravo Foundation (2017–2020), blending curatorial innovation with educational leadership.
His publications critique societal norms through the lens of the pandemic, analyzing the role of cultural fictions in governance. These works, such as Sí? Ficcions i restriccions (2021), examine how restrictions reveal hidden ideological priorities. His academic articles align with themes of ethics, political discourse, and visual arts, reflecting a multidisciplinary approach.
