Laura Vilar Dolç is a dancer, creator, teacher, and researcher affiliated with the Department of Dance Pedagogy at the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona and part of the Philosophy Degree teaching team at Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). She holds a PhD in Philosophy from UAB, focusing on artistic research through dance.

Her research explores intersections between contemporary dance, philosophy, and artistic methodologies, emphasizing embodied inquiry and liminality. She co-directs nunArt, an artistic research center, and curates Im_flieger's Schule Artistic Research through Movement(s) (2023-24). Her international collaborations include residencies in Vienna and work with pioneering dance companies like Compagnie Taffanel and Russell Maliphant's company.
Recent creations include Sanjiao (2018), Voyager (2019), and Tentativas de (des)aparición (2021-2022). Her publications reflect critical engagements with dance as a philosophical and artistic practice, particularly through the lens of liminality and memory.
She actively teaches dance workshops and artistic research through movement globally, bridging formal and non-regulated educational spaces.
