Anna Majó is a lecturer and researcher in graphic design and visual arts education, currently affiliated with EINA (Escola de Disseny i Art) and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). She has been teaching at EINA since 2005, offering courses in Introduction to Design Projects and Graphic Arts. Her academic journey includes a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design, a Master’s in Visual Arts and Education, and an ongoing PhD in Arts and Education through an interuniversity program involving Barcelona, Granada, and Girona.

Research Interests:
Anna’s research is centered at the intersection of visual narratives, epistemology, and arts education. Her doctoral thesis, titled "The Praxis of Visual Narratives as an Epistemological Event," explores how visual storytelling functions as a knowledge-generating process within educational and museum contexts. She is particularly interested in how visual culture and design pedagogy can be leveraged to foster critical thinking and collaborative learning in both formal and informal educational environments.
She is an active member of the teaching innovation group Indaga-t (GIDCUB-13/087) and the Didactics of Design group at EINA, contributing to research on digital competence, student agency, and collaborative learning models in design education.
