Aristi Volou

Dr. Aristi Volou is a Lecturer in Law at Goldsmiths, University of London, specializing in international human rights law with a focus on socio-economic rights and interactions between different human rights regimes. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate modules including Human Rights Law and Clinic, International Human Rights Law: Theory and Practice, International Human Rights Law: Advanced Themes, and Human Rights and Criminal Justice.

Her research explores the intersections between different human rights frameworks, with particular emphasis on socio-economic rights protection mechanisms and the relationship between national laws and international human rights standards.
