Aristi Volou

Aristi Volou is a postdoctoral researcher and legal scholar specializing in human rights and comparative law. She earned her PhD in International and Comparative Human Rights Law from the University of Leicester, where she served as a Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and held administrative roles. At the Hertie School's Centre for Fundamental Rights, she works on the CIVICA research project Leading Cases in UN Human Rights Law. Her career includes a traineeship at the European Court of Human Rights and a Lecturer position at BPP University in London. She volunteers with Just Fair, focusing on human rights-based approaches to social and economic issues.
