Antje Herrberg is a Visiting Professor at the EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies Department of the College of Europe. She currently serves as a Research Fellow with the Berghof Foundation. Previously, she held senior roles including Chief of Staff at EUCAP Sahel in Niger and Special Advisor for Peace and Stabilisation at the EU Delegation to the Democratic Republic of Congo. Her expertise spans mediation, peacebuilding, and conflict transformation, with a focus on EU policy frameworks.

She has contributed to the EU’s mediation concept development, designed UN mediation processes, and led initiatives like the Black Sea Peacebuilding Network and African Union capacity-building programs. Her work integrates neuropsychology insights into conflict negotiations.
