معرفی
Dr. Anselm Küsters is a Research Fellow at the Chair of Digital History at Humboldt University of Berlin, where he has been pursuing his habilitation since 2022. Concurrently, he serves as Head of the 'Digitalization/New Technologies' department at the Centrum für Europäische Politik (cep) in Berlin and as an Associate Scientist at the Max-Planck-Institut für Rechtsgeschichte und Rechtstheorie in Frankfurt am Main.
His research focuses on interdisciplinary technology discourses, European integration history (particularly EU competition law), quantitative history of ideas, and digital humanities methodologies like text mining. His work bridges economic history, legal evolution, and computational analysis to examine regulatory responses to technological change.
Küsters' publications demonstrate consistent application of text mining techniques to historical sources, with recurring themes in central banking communications, architectural criticism, media representations of European economies, and computational legal history. His methodological innovations in Natural Language Processing (NLP) provide new frameworks for analyzing historical regulatory discourses.
