Eliana AUGUSTI is an Associate Professor in the Department of Legal Sciences at the University of Salento, specializing in the History of Medieval and Modern Law (IUS/19). She holds qualifications as a Full Professor in this discipline and leads research on migration policies, colonialism, and legal history. She is the Principal Investigator of the HiLArI project (PRIN PNRR 2022) and the founder of Scuola Civica, a civic education initiative. She has collaborated with institutions such as the Max-Planck-Institut für europäische Rechtsgeschichte and the UNHCR through the UNI.CO.RE. program.
