Carlo MIGNONE

Carlo Mignone is an Associate Professor of Private Law at the Department of Legal Sciences, University of Salento. He holds qualifications to serve as a Full Professor in Private Law (IUS/01) and specializes in civil law, property law, and non-profit entities. His academic roles include teaching Private Law Institutions in the Business Economics program and courses on non-profit entities in the Civil Law specialization. He has conducted research at the University of Potsdam as a Visiting Scholar and serves as Vice-Coordinator of the International PhD in 'Law and Sustainability'.

Research & Projects: Mignone leads or participates in PRIN-funded national projects and coordinates initiatives like the 2018 National Conference on 'Social Impact Finance'. His work focuses on legal frameworks for sustainability, property law, and civil law modernization. He manages the Integro-LAB research unit's 'Scuola Civica' project.

Awards & Recognition: He authored two award-winning monographs—Identità della persona e potere di disposizione (2014) and I simboli celebri (2022)—both honored with prestigious prizes. He is a member of the Italian Society of Civil Law Scholars (SISDi.C.) and serves on editorial/advisory boards for legal journals and research networks.
