Professor Annette Roberts is affiliated with Cardiff Business School at Cardiff University, where she has been a member of staff since 1994. She holds the academic rank of Professor of Economics and serves as Deputy Director of the Welsh Economy Research Unit (WERU) and Editor of the Welsh Economic Review. Her career spans over 30 years in regional economics and policy.

Roberts' research focuses on regional economics and policy, regional input-output analysis, economic evaluation, foreign direct investment, and economic development.
