Dr. Anne York is a Professor and Program Director of Economics at Meredith College, where she has served since 1999. She leads the Economics major and advises the Omicron Delta Epsilon honor society. Her roles include co-chairing the Tenure & Promotion Committee and contributing to institutional governance. Dr. York holds a Ph.D. from North Carolina State University, an M.S. from UNC-Charlotte, and a B.S. from Elon University.
Her research expertise focuses on labor and health economics, particularly gender disparities in labor markets.
