Anna Goldsworthy is a Professor and Director of the Elder Conservatorium of Music at the University of Adelaide, as well as Director of the J.M. Coetzee Centre for Creative Practice. She holds dual roles as a distinguished pianist, writer, and festival director, blending artistic practice with academic leadership. Her affiliations include the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics and involvement with initiatives like the Adelaide Festival of Arts and the Coriole Music Festival.
Her research and creative works focus on aesthetic education, music performance, and the intersection of artistic creativity with historical contexts. She has published acclaimed memoirs and edited volumes, including Beyond the Stage on Australian cultural responses to World War I. Goldsworthy is also a sought-after supervisor for Masters and PhD candidates in music and creative arts.
