Miroslav Bukovsky

Miroslav Bukovsky is a Lecturer in Trumpet at the School of Music, Australian National University (ANU), where he has taught trumpet, composition, arranging, and improvisation since 1999. A leading Australian jazz trumpeter and educator, he co-founded the country's first jazz course at Sydney Conservatorium in 1975 and was a founding member of Ten Part Invention (1986) and Wanderlust (1991).

His career spans performance collaborations with artists like Marcia Hines, Jimmy Barnes, and John Riley, as well as international tours with ARIA-winning band Wanderlust. Since 2013, he has held the title of Distinguished Artist in Residence at ANU.
