Dr. Anna Elliott is an Associate Professor of Counseling and Program Coordinator in the Department of Counseling, Human Development and Family Science at the University of Vermont's College of Education and Social Services. Her work focuses on enhancing counselor development and improving mental health access, particularly in rural communities. She holds a PhD in Counselor Education from Idaho State University, an MA in Community Mental Health from Antioch University New England, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts.

Her research addresses systemic mental health challenges in rural areas and factors influencing counselor-in-training development. Dr. Elliott is affiliated with Project CORE, focusing on community-based participatory research and restorative practices in education.
Award: Outstanding Faculty Award (2021) from Montana State University's College of Education and Health & Human Development.
