Anna Dolganov

Anna Dolganov is an APART-GSK Excellence Fellow and Academy Scientist at the Department of Ancient Legal History and Papyrology, Austrian Academy of Sciences. Her work combines documentary papyri and inscriptions to explore the social, legal, and institutional frameworks of the Roman Empire. Contact: anna.dolganov@oeaw.ac.at.

Her research focuses on the Roman judicial system and archival institutions, with two monographs under contract at Cambridge University Press. The first examines judicial sociology and institutions (2025), while the second analyzes Roman trial records (2026). Current projects include a study of Roman archival systems funded by the APART-GSK Excellence Fellowship.
