Anna Cabre Verdiell Bosch

Anna Cabre Verdiell Bosch is a part-time Lecturer at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD), specializing in ballet, contemporary techniques, and physical theatre. She has also held teaching roles at Leeds Conservatoire and Leeds Beckett University, focusing on musical theatre and interdisciplinary performance. Her creative work co-directs ACCA Dance Theatre, a company championing feminist themes through dance-theatre and immersive performance. She is currently pursuing an MA in Dance Teaching & Facilitating at NSCD, starting in 2024.

Anna’s educational background includes a First Class Honours degree from NSCD and a Journalism degree from Ramón Llull University. She has expanded into arts journalism, co-founding Artychoke Magazine (2020–2023), an online platform highlighting global artistic resistance. Her professional collaborations span Northern Ballet Academy, ProDanceLeeds, and Germany’s Vier.D, navigating post-Brexit artistic challenges.

Her teaching philosophy emphasizes pastoral care, with regular student tutorials and participation in NSCD’s Student Review Board. She advocates for interdisciplinary creativity, blending performance with social commentary through projects like ACCA’s Occupational Hazard, which toured nationally and received critical acclaim.
