Charlotte Arnold

Charlotte Arnold (she/her) holds a BPA and MA in Contemporary Dance. As a CAT Outreach Coordinator and Tutor at Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD), she teaches across diverse settings including early years, professional development, and NSCD+ outreach programs. Her teaching practice extends to organizations like Northern Ballet and Kala Sangam in Leeds, while also performing and directing her own dance theatre company ACCA.

RESEARCH INTERESTS: Charlotte's creative work spans choreography, interdisciplinary performance, and arts facilitation. Her company ACCA focuses on dance theatre, with touring productions like Occupational Hazard presented at venues including Yorkshire Dance and Grassington International Festival. She contributes to arts administration through roles like editing Artychoke digital zine and programming for ProDance Leeds.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: Charlotte began dancing at DanceEast CAT before training at NSCD. She worked with Black Box Dance Company in Denmark and remains active in Leeds as a dance artist with Tim Casson and FRONTLINEdance. ACCA is a resident company at Slung Low, emphasizing community engagement and experimental performance formats.
