Professor Ann John is a clinical epidemiologist holding a personal chair in Public Health and Psychiatry at Swansea University. She leads the DATAMIND Mental Health Data Hub funded by the Medical Research Council and co-directs multiple initiatives including the MQ-funded Adolescent Mental Health Data Platform and Wales Suicide Information Database. Her research focuses on suicide prevention, youth mental health, and translating evidence into policy.
